Council Christmas party

On December 9th our council held it’s annual Christmas and awards party

A home cooked meal with dessert and beverages was served. Awards were presented and a Secret Santa game finished off the evening. All enjoyed the fellowship.

The following awards were presented:

Knight of the year: Pat Mulrooney posthumous award, Helen received the award. (Pat has been a spark-plug for many council projects during his membership, he will be missed.)

Grand Knight award: Len Reinsfelder (Len is a Eucharistic Minister, Lector, Adult education leader and council Recorder since moving to New Holland.)

Special Service award: Jim Futer & Jeff Metzler (Jim continues to assist the Knights in his position of Trustee and an employee of the Church. Jeff, as a new member, has been attending meetings and supporting the council.)

Pastors award: Marc Spina (Marc, in addition to his day job, is the Grand Knight but also has taken on several projects; eg. poster contest, St. Joseph Icon, Coats for Kids program.)

John Flora award: Ron Zega (Ron has been heading up the Chicken BBQ fundraisers, the Advent candle sales, a Eucharist Minister and, as Chancellor, communicates with our sponsored seminarian regularly.)

All were presented award certificates and a $50 restaurant gift card.
